The Project

If you’ve ever watched the hit show Moonshiners on the Discovery Channel, then there’s a good chance you’ve seen Climax1 of Tim Smith Spirits. Tim’s sturdy and trusted 2001 Ford Excursion has been featured on Moonshiners several times, however, it has been taken to the next level for the upcoming season of Moonshiners.

Lights, Camera, Action!

The KTL team partnered with KC HiLiTES, Inc. to incorporate custom fabricated 6″ SLIMLITE LED’s to the front bar, while adding their FLEX ERA4 lights to the lower bar. If that wasn’t enough, the undercarriage is now fully lit with 8 CYCLONE V2 LED’s.

We also partnered with Complete Performance to upgrade the headlamps and tailights on this classic Ford OBS truck. With this new lighting system – you will be able to see Tim and his crew coming from miles away!

A KTL Style Makeover

KTL completed the refresh of Climax1 by putting their own twist on the original two-tone paint job with fresh paint from BASF Refinish North America that compliments Tim’s famous Wood-Fired whiskey! Cheers y’all!
